JUNE 12 - WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR Education: the right response to child labour Children's Solidarity Event, organised by “Le respect, ça change la vie in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, Place des Nations, by the "Broken Chair" In the presence of civic leaders from the City and Canton of Geneva, 600 schoolchildren from Geneva and neighbouring France donated books to children in Africa, presented a giant canvas featuring signatures to a statement saying no to child labour, and sang a rendition of the song "Liberez les enfants." The event concluded with the unveiling of a Pencils Sculpture, donated by Caran d'Ache, followed by a release of balloons.

L'evento, che si è tenuto al Parco Naturale Migliarino S.Rossore Massaciuccoli il 21 e 22 Maggio, è stato organizzato dalla Provincia di Pisa nell'ambito del Progetto SCREAM ed ha coinvolto 47 scuole, per oltre 2.500 persone compreso organizzazioni del no profit, associazioni, università e imprese.
